The week six Southern Pigskin players of the week in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

ACC Offensive Player of the Week: Giovani Bernard, North Carolina - Rushed 23 times for 262 yards and a touchdown, adding three catches, in the Tar Heels' 48-34 triumph over Virginia Tech.

ACC Defensive Player of the Week: Steele Divitto, Boston College - Recorded 18 total tackles a fumble recovery in the Eagles' 34-31 loss to Army.

ACC Special Teams Player of the Week: Mike Rose, NC State - Blocked a fourth quarter FSU punt which led the game-winning score in the Wolfpack's 17-16 upset of Florida State.

ACC Freshman of the Week: Shadrach Thornton, NC State - Rushed for 29 yards and caught four passes for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Wolfpack's 17-16 upset of Florida State.

ACC Coach of the Week: Tom O'Brien, NC State - The Wolfpack recorded 21 first downs to the Seminoles' 16 in their 17-16 upset of Florida State.

ACC X-Factor of the Week: Mike Glennon, NC State - Converted three fourth downs on final drive and threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Brian Underwood with 16 seconds to play in the Wolfpack's 17-16 upset of Florida State.
