Northern Illinois and Florida State both arrived in Miami on Wednesday to put the final touches on their game plans before the Orange Bowl kicks off.

The ACC has had an incredibly tough going in BCS bowl games, managing to win just two BCS bowls since the 1998 season.

The conference's lone opportunity to increase its BCS win total this season will come in the Orange Bowl, as the ACC champion Florida State Seminoles will take on Northern Illinois from the MAC.

Both teams have been preparing for the contest intermittently over the past few weeks, but are now in full bowl preparation mode.

Northern Illinois and Florida State both arrived in Miami on Wednesday afternoon to put the final touches on their respective game plans before the New Years Day contest.

Southern Pigskin's Carlos Pineda captured some moments from the teams' arrival.
