Tank Carradine led Florida State (10-2, 7-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) with 80 tackles and was second on the Seminoles with 11 sacks.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Defensive end Tank Carradine will miss Florida States final two games of the 2012 season with a torn knee ligament.
Coach Jimbo Fisher announced the injury Sunday. Florida State plays the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game Saturday against Georgia Tech, and will play in a bowl.
Carradine led Florida State (10-2, 7-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) with 80 tackles and was second on the Seminoles with 11 sacks.
The senior from Cincinnati had started in 11 games. Carradine was expected to be a backup in 2012, but a season-ending foot injury to Brandon Jenkins pushed Carradine into the starting lineup in the second week of the season.
