SouthernPigskin.com SoCon Columnist Josh Buchanan makes his week seven predictions after going 37-3 through the first six weeks.

Season Record: 37-3

Western Carolina at Furman
The Paladins are coming off a disappointing loss to Elon while the Catamounts are coming off a disappointing less to Samford.  I learned my lesson last week to not pick the ‘Cats until they show they can put points on the board.  Furman has too much talent defensively for Western and should come out with an easy victory.

Furman - 35
Western Carolina - 13http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/samf/sports/m-footbl/auto_action/1553268.jpeg

Elon at The Citadel
The Bulldogs are looking for redemption after the beating they received in Boone last weekend.  This game could be a taste of the same medicine with the high powered Elon offense and solid pass defense coming to town.  Expect this to be closer; however, with Elon getting some revenge with a good road win.

Elon - 35
The Citadel - 31

Appalachian State at Samford
Samford boasts the top scoring defense in the SoCon while ASU has the top scoring offense in the league.  Something has to give this weekend and while Samford is better than expected, they don’t have the firepower to be victorious.  App wins this one with a big day from Armanti Edwards.

Appalachian State - 40
Samford - 10

Chattanooga at Wofford
Wofford has been impressive thus far and looks much more talented than the Mocs.  They boast the #2 total offense and #1 rushing offense in the league.  The home crowd and superior talent gives the Terriers the edge.

Wofford - 42
Chattanooga 17
