The Southern Pigskin week two Steak 'n Shake Southern Conference Players of the Week.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Offensive Player of the Week: Jacob Huesman, Chattanooga - Passed for 181 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 166 yards and one score in the Mocs' 27-24 loss to Jacksonville State.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Defensive Player of the Week: Rah Muhammad, The Citadel - Had 16 total tackles, one tackle for loss and three forced fumbles in the Bulldogs' 23-21 upset of Georgia Southern.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Special Teams Player of the Week: Thomas Warren, The Citadel - Converted on all three of his field goal tries, including a 37-yard go ahead kick with 35 seconds left in the Bulldogs' upset of Georgia Southern.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon X-Factor of the Week: Jamal Jackson, Appalachian State - Threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 65 yards and another score in the Mountaineers' 35-27 triumph over Montana.
