The Steak 'n Shake award winners for week three in the Southern Conference.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Offensive Player of the Week: Ben Dupree, The Citadel - Rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns and completed two passes for 56 yards in the Bulldogs' 52-28 triumph over Appalachain State.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Defensive Player of the Week: Carson Smith, The Citadel - Had seven tackles, an interception and a blocked punt return for a touchdown in the Bulldogs' 52-28 victory over Appalachian State.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Special Teams Player of the Week: Fabian Truss, Samford - In addition to rushing for three scores, Truss ran a kickoff back 97 yards for a touchdown in the Bulldogs' 44-23 win over Gardner-Webb.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Freshman of the Week: Thuc Phan, Elon - Rushed 15 times for 110 yards in the Phoenix's 48-14 win over West Virginia State.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon Coach of the Week: Kevin Higgins, The Citadel - One week after topping Georgia Southern, the Bulldogs compiled 618 total yards in their 58-28 upset of Appalachain State.

Steak 'n Shake SoCon X-Factor of the Week: Wofford Offensive Line - The Terriers rushed for 590 yards and seven touchdowns, with three different players rushing for over 125 yards, in their 49-20 win over Western Carolina.
