Florida State freshman quarterback Jameis Winston was spectacular for a second consecutive week.

ACC Offensive Player of the Week: Vad Lee QB, Georgia Tech

Lee contributed to all five of the Yellow Jackets' touchdowns, with four through the air and one on the ground.  He was able to connect with three different receivers for touchdowns and also led the team with 22 carries for 76 yards.

ACC Defensive Player of the Week: James Gayle DE, Virginia Tech

Gayle had two sacks and forced a fumble on the road against East Carolina, but his biggest impact was made with a safety with less than two minutes to go in the game.  His play helped secure a 15-10 Virginia Tech victory.

ACC Special Teams Player of the Week: Brad Craddock K, Maryland

Craddock connected on three of his four field goal attempts and hit three extra points to account for 12 of the Terrapins 32 final points.  Craddock gave Maryland a 13-10 lead heading into halftime after hitting a 21-yarder as time expired.

ACC Coach of the Week: Paul Johnson, Georgia Tech

Johnson had a week to prepare for the Yellow Jackets' conference opener against Duke and he seemed to use that time wisely.  His offense moved the ball extremely well and he was able to use Vad Lee’s arm as an advantage within his triple-option attack.

ACC X-Factor of the Week: Jameis Winston QB, Florida State

Winston picked up where he left off in game one, showing no rust from the bye week.  Once again, he showed good decision-making in the pocket and delivered his passes accurately.  He still must continue to grow as a player, but it seems that the Seminoles have a special talent in their midst.
