The regular season is almost here, and Southern Pigskin is proud to announce the return of our Bud Light Southern Power Poll!

The Bud Light SouthernPigskin.com Power Poll is a combined ranking of the teams from the SouthernPigskin.com FBS coverage area: the ACC and SEC. The poll is not entirely predicated on win-loss records or head-to-head pairings, though those are obviously taken into account. The list is an average of the five polls of the members of the Southern Pigskin Staff: B.J. Bennett, Matt Osborne, Carlos Pineda, Anthony Richards, and Matt Smith. We each rank our top 15 teams, with the top 12 being selected for the Power Poll.
