I don’t know if this guy is going to run or not.  My guess he is trying to sell books. Hell he may want Trump to win to protect his fortune for all I know.

Although a democrat, he sounds like a reasonable guy from the little bit I have heard him say. 

Can a moderate democrat running on an independent ticket pull away centrist from the Democrats and Republicans to have a chance?  I seriously doubt it.  I will say that Ross Perot actually was doing really well before he drop out.  It was literally a 3 way race.

The radical left better worry about this fellow more than hating Trump.  This is the fellow that’s going to steal voters for the Democrats in the field should he run.

Mr. Schultz went on Fox and Friends this morning.  I must say I like this guy.  I got really annoyed at the 3 Hosts that were doing drive-by questions in an obvious attempt to keep him from fully expressing his views. 

He would be a formidable opponent for Trump if the Democratic party embraced him.  It won’t happen because he a rich white billionaire and those people are only allowed to write checks in the Democratic Party and not participate in presidential politics.

He could really help pull the Democratic party off of the super-left cliff and bring them back to position moderates could embrace.

I look forward to listening more from him.  I certain respect the fact that he was willing to go into the lions den of conservative TV.  I rarely agree with Bill Maher, but even he said the Democrats can’t win just playing home games.

I haven’t seen too much of him to really have an opinion. It’ll be very hard for anyone to get any traction as an independent. The parties have so much money and media that they can make it tough. It might be a good thing for the country though.

From listening to him, I think he would be more than happy to run as a Democrat, but the partying isn’t really aligned with people like him.

I’ll have to check him out a little more. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens and who gets the nomination from the Democrats.

He’s going to have a town hall hosted by Fox News this Thursday evening at 6:30.  It will be interesting to see how the moderators work with him and how he and the crowd mix.
