The premiere is right around the corner. It is being estimated that over one billion people around the world will be watching this show.  There are so many plots and sub-plots going on that it’s going to be interesting to see how things end up when the dust settles.

good opening.  I thought they rushed a few things but overall a good set-up episode. I’ll avoid spoilers in case folks haven’t watched yet.

Now the we are 2 episodes in does anyone have anything to chime in on?  I don’t want to give up spoilers but I’m going to soon.  I also found out a leak online occurred again.  It provided an outline of what happened in Ep. 2 and next weeks as well…so I know what happens next week in ep3.

Msg me if you want to know

I’m all for spoilers for the current episode, if you haven’t watched it in about 24hrs sorry not sorry.  I don’t want to know ahead though.

I’m loving it so far.  Its weird to think Winterfell may be the only setting we see this season.  SO many huge characters together for the first time all series.  And the fighting is about to begin!  I have SO many theories running through my head, I have no idea whats going to happen.

I think Grey Worm or Missandei are gone very soon.  That scene with them dreaming about going back home and visiting the beaches together and what not was the biggest foreshadowing of death yet.  I can see it being Missandei, and Grey Worm takes her body/ashes back to her homeland.

And don’t tell me, but the previews for Episode 3 showed Daenerys telling Jon “The dead are already here”.  To me that can mean one thing.  The Crypts of Winterfell.  The dead in the crypt will rise.  For or against the Night King, who knows.  It all makes sense since the whole episode the crypts were sought as this safe space for Women, Children, and Tyrion.

Arya is very interesting to me, shes setting up to have some breakthrough moment in the battle to come.  And with a slight glimpse of Ghost, I think we may see Nymeria and her pack enter the fray possibly saving Arya.  Will Arya go after the Night King or his new Dragon?  I feel like she may be one of the best to do so given her training.  Why the ironborn are protecting Bran is beyond me, they seem incapable of doing so.  Bran and Arya have been my favorite characters for many seasons now, and I always said they are 2 of the biggest keys of the series.

It’s not a big spoiler to look at the E3 trailer to figure out that all our war is about to go down at Winterfell and i’ll leave it at that.

I too am a big Arya fan.  Her story arc has been one of the more entertaining.

I also like the Hound.  I’ve always like a good anti-hero in a story.

Jon and Dany’s situation is evolving.  I am wondering if she’s feeling Jon will uspurp her for the Iron Throne now that he has the better claim?  While she loves Jon, she’s seems almost single-minded on getting the Throne.  Will she go Mad-Queen like dad?

Jamie and Theone’s redemption so far seem genuine.

Have you watched E2?  I don’t want to go into too much detail if you haven’t.

And what do we say to the god of death?

Gotta save the spoilers for a day or so for those that need to catch up but WOW.  Best episode ever.  I was legit on the edge of my seat the entire time.  The end was incredible.  I want everyone to know I was riding that character’s wagon since day 1!  I thought they were one of if not the most interesting of the series.  Since having the big moment though, I question if they will make the final final now.  I’ll enjoy it for the time being.

I changed the header so I’m not waiting.  People have been warned.

Arya killing the NK was a complete and amazing surprise.  Loved it.  Honorable mention to the Hound of overcoming is PSTD to save Arya and Theone for keeping Bran alive until he dies in probably the best redemption story of all.

There is a lot to talk about in this episode.

The thing that I’ve enjoyed most about the strong female characters in GOT is they don’t feel “forced” on you in a SJW method.  The characters have been developed in a way where their life’s experiences made them the people they are.

I read an article where Maise Williams was a little concerned that the fans would be upset because John Snow or Danny doesn’t kill the Night King.  Personally I think this was a much more exciting angle and from the reactions I’ve seen most everyone loved it.

Episode 4:

I was a little disappointed to be honest.  While it had some good parts, overall just felt rushed and the way they apparently ended some story lines was MEH.

I was fine with Samwell and Gilley.

Did not like Tormund and Ghost

Really didn’t like the way Jamie did Brienne at the end

This whole Dany apparently starting going mad with her obsession and losing objectivity is almost telegraphed.

Jon Snow is trying to do the right thing and is conflicted as usual.

I have to ask at the end of this episode when the executed the girl (I’m withholding name), why wouldn’t they have taken shots at Dany with all of those damn Scorpions?  Talk about low hanging fruit?

I didn’t care for the whole Jamie and Brienne thing anyway so I’m fine with how it ended.  Jamie will always be tied to Cersei.  Brianne kills Jamie then Arya uses his face to kill Cersei???  That’d be sick, but would Arya get the 2 biggest kills in the game of thrones?

I can’t help but feel like Dany is careless with the dragons.  I think she overestimates their power and I don’t expect the last one to make it through this alive.  Why would she not attack the ships from the rear or another angle?  Why stay in the path of the scorpions, it’s kind of dumb tbh and the fate is deserved.

I feel like Sansa is gunning for the throne.  Dany is to reckless to get it, John doesn’t want it, Sanasa has the desire and the demeanor to have it.

Can’t wait to see what Arya does, hope she uses someone’s face to do it.

Knew that person would be killed, I was an episode off calling it.

There was a Episode 5 and 6 leak yesterday.  If it’s accurate, all I’ll say is some things I’m ok with and others I’m not and leave it at that.

Since there is spoilers in the title I hold no responsibility for those reading further.

I was fine with most everything in Episode 5, but I did not like how they handled the Lannister arc in the end.  Just weak.  Just pitiful weak IMO.  I get it, Twins, come in and go out together but come onnnnn.  You build a super villain for seasons now to die crying and afraid.

Also, the dragon could of done this an episode ago.

I don’t see how Arya goes from pro assassin to scared out of her mind incapable of doing much of anything.  The hound saying one thing changed her mind??  In the end I like the fact that Arya now probably REALLY wants to kill Dany which I have hated for a few seasons now.  Really hope this happens.  Was the horse Bran saving Arya??

How are they going to tie this all up?  Dany has gone mad and is in a blood rage which causes her army to be in the blood rage.  I think she has to die, I just want to know what happens to her army that has been with her forever.  Do they dare have another battle?  Doesn’t seem like it.  These two were the ones teased for the season.  Interested to see how it all closes, hope it’s better than tonight.

Overall I am not happy with this season.  They should have spent the entire season on the Night King/White Walker war that would have allowed a lot more time for character development and ways to better end storylines and the have a 9th season to have the battle for the throne again allow more plot development.

This year has essentially been D&D’s attempt to show off how big and how long of a battle they can put on a TV show at a huge sacrifice to real acting.

Jon and Dany have spend most of their time riding a dragon, avoiding each other and those times when they do the scene are short and awkward.  Furthermore, Jon has went from this bad ass brooding leading to a pussy-whipped bitch that is running around saying “She’s our Queen” and “We have to obey her”...

They Spend 8 years building Dany’s character to NOT be like her father and suddenly in just one episode they make her batshit crazy…WTF?

Cersi did not plotting or scheming.they just plopped her has up in the Red Keep with her starring down expecting to win….

There are so many more rushed and poorly done plotlines to discuss.  I agree with you on Arya.  Very underwhelming apparent end to the little assassin story with her riding away..

It feels like they could of kept episodes the same time length as the others, and just put in more than 6 episodes…..like normal.  They are rushing things.
