Hosted by NBC News, MSNBC and Telemundo.

Here are the Candidates participating:

Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden will not be on stage tonight which is unfortunate.

It will be interesting to see their strategies to gain traction:

Will they go “Trump Bad Man”?

Will they Attack Joe and Bernie since, the two rich old white dudes?

Will they promise free and universal everything with no specifics?

They aren’t going to have a lot of time and need to do something meaningful to separate themselves from the field.

It will be fun to watch.

I listened to them while at the SCDP event in Columbia last week, working not attending, it’s crazy where they can pull the stuff they say from.  Money for them, money for you, money for everyone…..no mention of where that money comes from.  It’s the sketchiest, vaguest, nonsense I’ve ever heard in my life.  Pay off every student’s debt?  Ok so you want people that have worked to pay off their own debt to pay off other student’s debt?  NO THANK YOU.  The other big points I heard were abolishing private prisons, eliminating cash bail i think it was?, legalizing weed, and unseating (insert republican name here to hype crowd).  Just very vague points we’ve heard forever.  20 candidates, no one in the room sounded solid for 1-3 candidates.  It’s gonna be a mess for the dems again and they will once again eliminate themselves for not working together.

The democrats also proudly stated they were tired of old white men referring to the republicans, forgetting they have 2 running for their ballot.

You have 20 people essentially running against prosperity.  Most of the seem to want to tell 150 million Americans that they would have to give up their private insurance and be moved to a single payer.  Climate Change, Climate Change, Climate Change.

For the last 2 years, the Democrats (with the help of liberal news media) have been doing everything they can to take out Trump and the Republicans.  Now it’s time to turn things around.  For the next 2 years, the Democrats are going to have to devour each other and speak up for the things they believe in and answer to the public…..

President Trump doesn’t have to go through the grind of a seriously contested primary.  He can do his job and with the aid of his twitter account torment the hell out of this candidates like he did last night when he used one word:  BORNING.  He can do more damage to a Democratic candidate with a word or two of heckling and a whole news expose could do.

This is going to be fun to watch

Damn, I thought the first 10 where off their rockers…the second group is batshit crazy with the stuff they are proposing.

Also became divisive along racial, gender and age lines.

Joe Biden’s age really showed up bad.  He looked like a prize fighter that was fighting one too many and simply couldn’t throw the punch.  Biden’s going to fade quickly and that’s a shame for the Democrat party because he’s really the only mainstream guy out there.  All of the other candidates are pretty far left and that’s going to be a really hard sell to moderates….

it appears every democratic candidate is for open borders and healthcare for illegal immigrants. There is a disconnect with the middle of america in that party. I do not consider myself devout to either, but with declarations like this my choice may be easy. College loan debt has the potential to drag down the economy. That is a thorny issue, for sure. Government action isn’t out of the question, but might be hard sell to the public who has managed to pay their loans, or did not go to college at all. Also, liberal art degrees, while valuable culturally do not often work in the private sector for jobs that are demanding a math and science background at an ever increasing rate.

Congress must do actual work to the country, and not convene rival committees to solve nothing.
Also, you only have to go back to Obama to see where the democratic party supporting a physical barrier at the southern border. The opinion of that party has changed so dramatically on that, and is symptomatic of the drastic shift to the far left the party has made on a basic level. To me, Trump being reelected is a bygone issue. The issue is getting folks in congress who can work for the country to move things forward.
