Either AOC is brilliant or incredibly stupid taking on Pelosi.  I tend to think stupid.  Pelosi I suspect is going break her in half.  Expect an AOC scandal and there absolutely will be primary challenge to take her out.

It looks like it’s settled a little but it wouldn’t be smart to take on Pelosi with all her power and connections - plus her claims seemed pretty silly.

AOC proved how utterly idiotic her thought process is when she ran Amazon hq2 out of NY…or assisted in that fiasco.

FWIW, I saw Hamilton this weekend. It was amazing. Better than I could have ever expected and such a refreshing contrast to the hatred and xenophobic embarrassment that a minority of people forced on the rest of us. The fact that I saw it this weekend when the current clown in chief was spewing white nationalistic hatred was not lost on me.

Just a reminder of what the White House was like when someone with dignity and worthy of admiration occupied it. Of course y’all hated him so you probably won’t like it. Don’t watch.

Yeah can you imagine voting for the people who scuttle immigration reform and doing exactly what he said? Oh wait you do. Better check your facts on which party didn’t support what you post. (I don’t need to mention which side of the aisle) and mainstream USA. Are you prepared for a Trump alternative that is likely to lean socialist? By the way, on that matter of the socialist progressive agenda- that a large part of this group of DEM candidates for president are standing on; who will pay for all of this free education?  If this ever takes off, I want my money back! Lastly, one can safely bet that the liberal college professor base will probably not volunteer to take a healthy pay decrease to assist in lowering tuition so that education is more affordable for all. Wish I had more time to write but I have to go to work. Darn, why can’t I just have what I want for free?

You are correct on him being nationalistic, and I don’t think such a perspective is a rare one in this or other countries around the globe.

The rhetoric is tiresome and get injected into everything - including primaries, internal debates etc. Disagreement leads to healthy discussion - if it’s allowed to happen. The rhetoric is so pervasive that it’s lost meaning and simply divides and ends discussion - maybe as intended.

The Democrat field has gone very far left, and I think at their own risk. I don’t think the public has shifted that far. Can you imagine a Democrat saying this in the primary these days? “Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.”

I just come out of the Mountains of North Georgia after a week of Summer Camp with the Boy Scouts.  Had a great time. We had 4 New Girl Troops experiencing the BSA Summer Camp Experience for the first time.  All was great aside from it being a little more buggy than unusal.

I’m glad you had a good time. Lots of people have good times in the summer. You long ago poisoned this well so if you want to rebuild it you will have to try a lot harder.

I assure you that I have no desire to attempt any détente with you.  There is nothing about you I like,desire or want.  That doesn’t mean I can’t respond in a civil manner. If you want to hear about my scout experience I am happy to share for you and any other interested as I have some good stories to share.  I don’t have to be your “pal” to do that.
