Just to answer a couple of points, yes, the go back to where you came from theme is used against white people and quite often. In fact, where I most commonly hear it is about people from the North moving to the South and talking about how they did things up North. In Charleston, we’ve had a lot of people move here in recent years, particularly from Ohio. Now you hear people being told to go back to Ohio quite often. I was in Colorado for a few years and they told everyone to go back to California.
Trump didn’t tell them to go back because of their skin color. He specifically outlined that it was because of their ideas and actions. If it was about color, why hasn’t he said that to the many other people with darker skin than him that serve in Congress? Everyone that claims it was racist is picking out that small segment of what he said and ignoring the rest of his statement which completely added a different purpose for his statement.
There are a lot of valid points, and extreme points, in the abortion debate. The argument that it’s about control over women misses some important information, that being the presence and termination of the life of another living being. Again, there are points where reasonable people can debate but to make it a thing about men wanting to control women is a distortion of the topic.
Lol, nice try. I get that works with the crowd you probably surround yourself with to justify it but not with me. If it was about ideas then why did he tel them to go back to their countries?!?!? Forgot that part huh? 3 of the four were born in the US. All are duly elected US Reps and American Citizens. Which country should they go back to?
Run along and try again. Or you could just admit that it was as wrong as wrong could be and we could be done. I know it’s hard for you, but you lost. I do appreciate you all telling me what you really think. I already knew it but stuff like that used to be hinted at. Now you just come right out! Even your boy knows he lost this one which is why he is feigning regret now. Amazing what a poll can do to a politician.
As for CU and abortion why do you think vast majorities of women don’t agree with you? Why do you think the vast majority of Americans don’t agree with you? Why do you think your party is becoming increasingly male and white???
Spare some anecdote of a Republican women. I’m talking about America as a whole. Of course you are in the party who has candidates that discuss “legitimate rape” and “rejecting pregnancy when raped” lol. So much for the will of the people I guess.
I am actually pulling for the “activist” judges on the Supreme Court to take the Alabama case and overturn Roe v Wade. It will accelerate your team to becoming the third party it is on its way to being by about 10 years. Then we can ACTUALLY make America great again. We are not right now under this administration and that rally at ECU proved it. Thank god I’m a Tar Heel.
