Dems in senate trying to bring new evidence, because the know the House did a sh!t job. Problem is, senate has republican majority. Whine, cry, scream, it matters not. I find it funny the GAO had to release Trump broke rule today. Just like Clinton did, Bush did, etc.. It seems the deck is stacked. Oh well, Senators will take time, keep candidates in the chamber.. no cell phones allowed. Six days per week of impeachment sessions. That is 100%  Pelosi’s fault. This entire thing is dumb. Real trial will be in general election. We’ll see how that turns out.

Exactly right. They know they didn’t make a strong case so now they want to add more. It’ll just be more hearsay and guessing, none of which is even admissible in a real court. They had total control of the proceedings in the House to call whatever witnesses they wanted.

Anyone familiar with this knows the house investigates and decides to charge, and the senate just examines evidence discovered by house investigation.If they did a poor job it’s on them. The senate’s job is not to discover new evidence. It is to examine evidence and vote on innocence or guilt. Never in US history has the senate investigated in the 3 previous impeachments. Those points are the truth. Believe it or not.

As an aside, have you enjoyed any skiing. It’s been too warm for that, I would think. Although winter is coming with a furry to the east this weekend.

It wasn’t warm in Park City but we did see photos of Beech and Sugar and it was a little sad. Hopefully they will get some snow soon.

The house would have loved to have heard fro Mulvaney and Bolton and even President Trump. They all refused to appear I think because everything was perfect. So did Lev and Igor but the southern district of New York seems to have swayed those last two.. They are talking now…
Trying to have an ambassador tailed and hit? There’s a Ukrainian investigation on now…one about a crime and not a political hit job. So weird that President Trumps lawyers keep trying to do terrible things. I think it is because he is the most innocent man ever.

UNC98, you are quite right. That is why the Senators are called “Jurors”.
