The Speaker of the House is finally moving on the “urgent” matter of naming the managers to prosecute the President and Commander-In-Chief Trump for the Senate Trial a really fast month after the Impeachment. The managers are as follows:

Adam Schiff
Jerrold Nadler
Hakeem Jeffries
Jason Crow
Val Demings
Sylvia Garcia
Zoe Lofgren

Aside from being a nice civics lesson for the young people to see how this process works because this “trial” will be nothing but political theater.  I just hope the Republics drag it out to screw up the campaigning of the Democrats for the Iowa caucus.

Get ready for some epic grandstanding! That’s about what it’s going to amount to for however long it lasts.

Well, Pelosi finally delivered those month-old “urgent” article of impeachment to the Senate.  In the meantime President Trump signs his big China trade deal.

That is a pretty stark contrast. Glad we got the urgent stuff done!

USMCA to be finalized in senate this week. Donald Trump has done quite a blit in 3 years. Trade agreements, pulling out of bad deals in climate and with Iran. Appointing judges, rewriting tax code. I’m sure there’s more. This among other reasons are why I think he will be reelected. The House have misplayed their hand with impeachment. If the senate allows for witnesses they will insist on one for one. That means the Biden’s will have to appear. Regardless, the true trial will be in the general election.

For something as serious as the impeachment of the President, Pelosi and company were treating the signing as a football game victory rather than the serious and somber event that it should be.  Fist pumps, the handing out of commemorative pens served on silver platters with her name on them.  This just adds to the ludicrously of the whole event. Pelosi was acting like the Cheshire Cat.

This is going to blow up in the democrats face.  Hell it already has. President Trump just keeps moving forward and will do what he has always done.  This time he doesn’t have to go through a primary battle.  He can take his war chest and just pin his ears back and hammer this weak field of Democrats.

There should be no reason for the Senate to call any more witnesses or do any further investigating.That was the Houses’s job to investigate and impeach. It’s now their job to convince the Senate.

Indeed. The House knows their case is weak. They rushed the “urgent” process and now want to amend it.

Tell me again what the national interest in getting simply an “announcement” of an investigation was?

Trump the corruption fighter…Bawhahahaha. I can’t wait to hear that one again.

I think it’s why they tried to hide the transcript on a classified server. Cause it was perfect and the case is weak.
