Thanks to Wikileaks, Debbie Wasserman-Shultlz has already lost her job has the head of the DNC on the even of Hilary Clinton’s coronation.  I wonder what other casualties there will be?

It will be interesting to see what Bernie Sanders will does tonight.  I wonder how he feels about the “damn emails” now that it is proven that the fix was in?

This is a grapefruit for Trump and he is swinging for the fence.  I imagine there will be a fair amount of civil unrest with the protesters this week.

No matter what they say about Trump, it will be over-shadowed with this scandal.

I have a feeling Wikileaks isn’t through yet.

This should be a pretty entertaining week in politics.

Great point..

I will also add that it took a loony old man from the left and a non-pc Billionaire from the more or less right that could not be bought to expose to both the average democrat and republican to see the party leaders for who they really are and they are not for the people….

political junkies like all of us sees these lot for what they are….

Agreed. This election cycle has been an interesting one that exposed that both parties are for themselves versus the people. I hope they continue to be exposed and hopefully something can change.

Its got to be hard for Bernie to sing her praises tonight when he probably despises her with every fiber of his being.

What’s the big difference?  It’s not like it was some secret that the GOP didn’t really support Trump. Both parties did the same thing really

Libertarian vote is looking better and better.

I hope Hilary’s train gets absolutely WRECKED with all of this stuff.  She deserves it.  I’ve been saying over and over how dirty and corrupt she really is.  The exposure of the DNC shows her element.  Wikileaks says the next release is sure to get her arrested, let’s hope it comes soon.

And no, it was individuals not liking trump, not the entire party itself trying to screw him like the Democrats did to Sanders.

Oh bullshit. You think any leak of RNC emails about a grandstanding playboy with 5 kids from 3 women 1 of whom he cheated with on another and who is hiding his tax returns due to serious implications of involvement with Russian oligarchs becoming the nominee of the Republican Party would be any different?

Any modest student of history will tell you that BOTH of these conventions are the norm for the nominating process and the past few are the exceptions.

The hypocracy of some of you just never ceases to amaze me.

Why is that? Because I don’t subscribe to bullshit as a political philosophy?

Facebook memes are not primary sources. Not sure if you are aware of that or not. I also am amazed at how the right now thinks Julian Asange is now a hero along with Vlad Putin. You know, a real leader….someone we should all cheer.

You know what is a primary source? The Kasich staffer who said Thurston Dipshit Trump the Third called to offer Kasich the VP spot and said he could be in charge of domestic AND foreign policy. When asked incredulously what would Trump be in charge of, the response he received was that Trump would be responsible for “making America great again.” Hence John Kasich, potentially the last sane Republican in power staying away from the convention of his own party in his own state.

But hey there were a lot of flags there behind the guy you want to give the nuclear codes to…and some Russian backing too. Like any “real” American should have.

Pines, why is it that you like to go off topic so much?  This thread is about a certain event that occurred and tossed it out there do discussed and as usual go off into orbit.

Do I like Wikileaks? No….But the situation exists and until it is stopped it is a new norm…Start a thread and let’s toss it around

Want to talk about Kasich? Sure…That would be fun…Start a thread….

Want to talk about Trumps ties with Russia?....Start a thread…

DO you have any thoughts about the OP…..please share….

As much wealth of knowledge and experience that you seem to have why don’t you start some thread with a good subject and opinion and allow people to toss it around….That of course is not your style.  You like to counter-punch and break other people down that dare to have a comment or opinion.  You are a fine complainer…I give you that my Crotchety Old Man…LOL

Not sure the Dems want to dig into character flaws.
As for the Russians, since you get information only from solid sources, can you name the source that has seen his tax returns and know he’s trying to hide that?

Sorry - division is the norm. Exposure of the party for trying to secretly stack the deck against the will of the voters is not the norm - nor is it the norm that the party of tolerance is exposed as referring to a constituency they claim to care about as taco bowls.

who is hiding his tax returns due to serious implications of involvement with Russian oligarchs

Let’s go one step further…Let have the IRS investigate the Clinton foundation to disclose the different nations that have sent money and perhaps a timeline to where some type of “quid pro quo” was repaid in the form of favorable legislation or some other government incentive was repaid.  I have a feeling a lot more than Russia would be part of this.

Yes, the dude of WV, says someone who wanted to go to the big 12.

Where did I change subjects? I directly am responding to how happy you seem to be that the Russian Government is directly meddling in an American election. If you actually were country first and not party first you would be very upset that a foreign government is trying to get your boy elected. But you are not.

But yes in the world of false equivalency, the wells and development grants of the Clinton Foundation are equal to the golf courses and gold plated towers of the Trump organization. Do you know anything about the Clinton organization? I actually live two doors down from the Director of the CDI. Do you know what he does? He works projects in Rawanda and Malawi. But please tell me more about another Republican time waste of an investigation where the board is stacked with Clinton haters and then after millions of taxpayer dollars are wasted on a witch hunt, they have to admit it was all politics to begin with, just like the house majority leader did about Benghazi.

As to the party trying to stack the deck? It has happened repeatedly in history and is more the norm than it isn’t especially when the guy running ISNT A DEMOCRAT! I suggest you learn some history before you come at me. Right now you suck at it. Get better.

Oh and George Will, you know that liberal leftist is the one who suggested Trump is deeply involved with Putin’s cronies not me. As to the taxes, no one has seen them. They are under audit remember? Even though the IRS has repeatedly said they are not and there is no reason whatsoever they can’t be released. Just another Clinton sympathizer right? That damn IRS and their hating of Donald Trump. I guess we will have to ask the guy who leads his campaign, Paul Manafort. He has worked for Russian strongmen and other dictators around the world for 30 years. But I bet they have American flags on their stage.

Can you imagine if Trump was running as a Democrat? You guys should be frothing at the mouth. It is hilarious watching you all defend him because he has a R behind his name. None better than the evangelical crowd. Jesus must be so embarrassed this crowd uses his name so much yet doesn’t do a damn thing he ever said.

Okay, go ahead and list the times they’ve been exposed like this - resulting in two changes of party chair the week of the convention?

Oh… George Will said so… Do you think George Will has seen the tax returns or has had that confirmed in any way? I doubt it or he would’ve said so. Is he a primary source or more similar to a Facebook meme? He’s making an assertion with no information, and you’re eating it up.

Trump isn’t my favorite either, and I saw George Will’s comments. My thoughts were immediately - how does he know that, but you just accepted it.
