Rush has been my favorite band for 35+ years and it was reported yesterday that the greatest drummer ever (in my humble opinion), Neil Peart, passed away from brain cancer.

If you’ve never listened to Rush you missed a treat and to watch Neil Peart paying the drums is memorizing.

A sad day in Rock and Roll

Because I like to think, I like to read. I’m into freedom of speech, the freedom of choice. I’m the kind of guy who likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder - “Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of BBQ ribs with the side order of gravy fries?” I want high cholesterol.

I have listened to a lot of their music lately on SXM. Their first go was in my youth, so I wasn’t super attentive. It’s sad when famous folks who have given us entertainment pass away. It also puts us in a place to realize that time waits for no one, including us.

Sad day for the music industry. I used to listen to a lot of their music. I might have to go find some.
