Great job! Two things….

First check this out.

Pretty impressive against your own conference I’d say.

Now here’s my question…. what is Miami’s record since you left the Big East or since you mattered? I seriously don’t know can you help me out?

I think we already proved what we can do playing that schedule. Here’s some advice for you. It’s harder at the top then it is getting there. You probably don’t understand what that means since you’ve never been to the top.

You didn’t play that schedule. You played most of it but you didn’t play Louisville or USF. You played VT and BC. And frankly although I’d take VT back in a minute we don’t want BC. They are terrible now and have been in the past.

And buddy it’s been so long since you were on top I’m surprised you can remember. Lots of your fans can’t. You can tell that by your one-quarter filled stadium on a Saturday in the fall.

funny thing is b.c. made a huge mistake.  vt has been a great fit for the acc, miami is sorta in the middle (their facilities are really lacking) but bc just doesn’t give off any kind of acc vibe.

a decade from now is going to be interesting to see where they are.  as long as al skinner is there for basketball they will be solid.  in my opinion he is top 3, if not top 1 x’s and o’s/development coach in the acc.  he does a lot w/very, very lightly recruited players year in and year out.  i would be curious to see what he could do with a dook or unc roster.

Last year they sucked… the year before with the top rookie in the NFL they choked….it goes on and on.

When your looking into the ACC and you have 3, 4 and 5 loss season….......... You Suck! and they did the same thing in the Big East. I don’t believe they even ever contended in football. Hoops another story but in football BC is as average as you can get. Then and now.

Good point…. but when you talk of the best teams in the ACC, nobody mentions BC. And when they were in the BE…. nobody mentioned BC. They are a vanilla average team in a huge market. Their market alone got them ranked way way to high 2 seasons ago. I guess it’s all relative… what is bad to me might not be bad to you. With Boston in the back drop, and a catholic school to boot you would think they would be much better. At least I would…. and they beat us the last time we played them but before that it was years before they beat us. I have no respect for them…. they are big, slow and over hyped every preseason.

I would love to drop BC for a different team.  Maybe ECU.

Might be a good choice if McNeill can pick up where Skip left off?

ECU take partial qualifiers. ACC teams can’t….That would hurt all of their sports programs. Also, ECU’s basketball precludes them from ACC membership. ECU is a fine school otherwise. Girls Gone Wild went there twice!

Obviously another bad post…I don’t recommend following that link from jenny king.

Anyhow since we are back on expansion I saw that the big ten is going to have to notify other conferences of schools they are going to contact soon. If they go to 16 then we are in for some conference armageddon. I hope the ACC does not get left out and my vote is for WVU. Natural rivals with VT and Maryland and their fans would pack out almost every stadium in the conference. If ECU could up their non-rev sports I would be more supportive but as a North Carolinian I can promise that it will not happen in this round for sure. NCSU and UNC boosters will work hard to squash that one…USF may be a viable candidate too.

Plus we need more couches burned around these parts…
