Allegedly the coaches are accused of pushing injured players to return too soon. I know at UNC medical staff clears players, and coaches have no say. Also, it was alleged that the Head Coach used some sensitive language during practice. Hatchell has been there forever. She is old, and is a cancer survivor. She is religious, also. That said, something must be up, or maybe not. As for UNC…. it’s better to be sure, than assume all is well. I think it may have to do with different generations, and the coach being too hard on the players, who revolted and said they were mistreated. The team was a little bit scorched during the NCAA stuff, but ultimately not punished. It led to the transfer of some players. The team get little press locally, so I can not pretend to have inside info. It will come out eventually one way or the other.
