Not all games announced yet.
Playoffs.
Bama v ND
Clemson v tOSU

Congrats to UNC for an Orange Bowl vs TA&M.  If Mack Brown wasn’t so old I would be worried about him getting poached.  Texas needs him LOLOL

Was really hoping to see Coastal Carolina get their shot against someone of note from the P5.  How crazy is it, 4 years removed from a national championship in baseball, Coastal puts together their best football team ever so far.  Quickly becoming the second best athletics program in the state.  Really wanted them to get a shot at something bigger.

I’m really pissed off that so many teams (particularly in the ACC) have chose to not go to post season.  I don’t think they should split the Bowl Money for choosing not to play.

There are some great Bowl matchups with the Orange Bowl easily being my favorite non-CFP game and all anyone’s talking about is the playoffs.

I was watching Urban Myer, who had be very resistant to expansion, say “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think the CFP needs to be expanded” (That’s a paraphrase).  He is sharing the opinion of many that having no chance of making the playoffs is causing players to shut down and now we are seeing entire programs.

I love the Bowls, but I’m afraid they are on the verge of becoming the next 8-Track Tape

Rumor has it that UNC has had like 3 starters opt out already.  Pretty disappointing.

UNC has had 2 seniors opt out of Orange Bowl, and two juniors that started declare for draft and opt out of game. I’m of two minds about this. One, you can’t blame a guy for going for his dreams. You don’t know what’s going on in their life. On the other hand this is the Orange Bowl. It’s a big bowl, and important. Their will be scouts there to see the players perform. Also, there’s plenty of time after the bowl to the senior bowl and combine. Regardless, it is what it is. UNC has plenty of WR’s so Brown might be missed, but just a little. Surratt has been the starting MLB for 2 years, but his back up is ready, we’ll just have to wait and see. Missing the best RB tandem in college football will hurt. That’s a fact. One other thing is one of the backups got hurt and will miss game. That’s leaves 2 RB’s who also play special teams. I read UNC making the Orange Bowl is great, and winning is not the end of the world. I’d like to see UNC go and just give 1000% to win. They are +6 at last look, so it’s winnable.

If the Orange Bowl was a playoff game would they have stayed?  My guess is yes.  This is why I feel the playoffs need to be expanded because a “Major” Bowl no longer holds a kids interest unless it is a playoff game. I would hope the NFL scouts would not look favorably at a player opting out over players that stay to support his team.
