I’m surprised no one has brought this up.  This is a pretty big deal.  It looks like Iran is poking the bear to draw that entire region into a war. 

Not sure where this will end.  Saudi Arabia needs to deal with this themselves but will want the US to handle it for them.  All I know is the 911 Hijackers were mainly Saudi Arabians and they can deal with this themselves.

Iran may find themselves with more sanctions from the international community. This has an impact on everyone. I don’t think we should be directly involved. As you said, the Saudis can handle it. We may help them in planning or support in some way.

It’s only going to get worse.  These younger kids know more about pop culture than the real world and we will see more celebrities, youtube stars that know know far less than Trump getting elected to office and that’s what’s really scary.

The world will endure Trump, but what comes after him is what should scare the hell out of everyone.

Say what you like about Trump, but he was the first to really understand the power of celebrity and use it to get elected.

The world is straining at the seams right now. Allies are at each other’s throats and authoritarianism is rising. The United States has abandoned its leadership and has aided that strain.

Literally every single Democrat running both on stage and in the background is more qualified and understands policy better than the president of the United States. That is sad and didn’t used to be true. But hey we have a celebrity! Woo hoo! I thought you conservatives hated celebrities?!? Or is it just the once that aren’t serial narcissists concerned with Obama Netflix?

As to your youth comment, blah blah. I hear that all the time from conservatives. Every generation always thinks the next one isn’t as good yet somehow the world is progressing…weird.

Study after study has shown that youth today are more educated, entrepreneurial and more accepting of others than ever before. They also are abandoning the Republican Party in greater numbers than ever before.  Good election strategy for the future.

That’s a little melodramatic.  There was a time when it was the US and everyone else with a splash of Russia.  But the world’s not the same place as it was 10,15,20,30 years ago.  The information/communication age has definitely changed the way the works interacts with each other.

I can’t agree with you on thant nor will I try to change your mind.  Some are reasonable but some are so “out there” in liberal looney land that they would horrible for this nation.

Russia has gone unpunished for a direct attack on America because it might make the president look bad. But hey it’s what you get when one party is a cult and they happen to be in power. Actually, thanks to the allowing of girls into the program, there has been a spike in membership.  When I was a summer camp in July, we had 3 girl troops there and all of the kids had a great time.  We will gain quite a bit more with the loss of the LDS church with girls. 

It’s sort of the reason we left and I promise you…my son and I were NOT the people the scouts need leaving.

That’s your choice..Scouting is not for everyone like anything in life.
