I stopped watching award shows a long time ago because they turned into political activist rallies. Some of my news feeds started talking about how Ricky Gervais really went after the Hollywood elite in his monologue as host of the Golden Globes and it was pretty good stuff:

He called out the hypocrisy of these people and was spot on. The crowds reaction was hilarious

That was hilarious. I hope he had fun because he’s not going to be invited next year.
