First, you certainly don’t need saving.  You stand your ground quite well. 

With the hopes of some form of amity let’s try this again.  I recall saying some time ago Joe would not have staying power due to age and gaffes.  After watching him, he ‘s still campaigning like it was in the pre-social media era and he’s just not current with the times.

My guess is he’s looking for an exit strategy.  I’m sure his people along with the leaders in the party are trying to get as many people to drop out of the race to get that one person they can gravitate too and build a war chest to take on Trump.

Mike Bloomberg is certainly and interesting element, but after watching him speak publicly yesterday and some of the racially insensitive comments that have come out he’s not going to just buy his way to the nomination. The other candidates have had the experience of debating, campaigning, town halls, interviews while Bloomberg is currently relying on tv ads and social media.

The next debate will have Bloomberg on stage and that should be a very interesting event as people like Warren and Sanders are vehemently anti-billionaire, taking on a guy that is the embodiment of what they feel is wrong in the nation taking on each other.

I wasn’t convinced the gaffes would really hurt him because he’s always done that, and he’s been able to play it off pretty well. He does look lost though and like he’s trying hard and just not connecting.

Bloomberg is an interesting element. I think he would like to stay out of the debates as long as possible. That way he avoids the attacks and can just run ads.

He’s a risky candidate for the Dems too. The changing of rules to allow him in and his being a billionaire will not sit well with a lot of people. I think his racial comments are going to really hurt too. He damages two of the Dems’ main arguments - wealthy people playing by different rules and race issues.

It’s extremely unfair to those candidates and changing the rules for the billionaire is something they won’t be able to escape. I think the others will jump on him pretty hard because they don’t appreciate it. I’m sure they would like to scream at the DNC about it too, but that would be risky. Gabbard is the only one so far that will call out that type of stuff, but then, as Hillary pointed out, she’s a Russian asset.
