A cancer charity started by Joe Biden gave out no money to research, and spent most of its contributions on staff salaries, federal filings show.

The Biden Cancer Initiative was founded in 2017 by the former vice president and his wife, Jill Biden, to “develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes,” according to its IRS mission statement. But it gave out no grants in its first two years, and spent millions on the salaries of former Washington, DC, aides it hired.

The charity took in $4,809,619 in contributions in fiscal years 2017 and 2018, and spent $3,070,301 on payroll in those two years. The group’s president, Gregory Simon, raked in $429,850 in fiscal 2018 (July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019), according to the charity’s most recent federal tax filings.

Simon, a former Pfizer executive and longtime health care lobbyist who headed up the White House’s cancer task force in President Barack Obama’s administration, saw his salary nearly double from the $224,539 he made in fiscal 2017, tax filings show.

Danielle Carnival, former chief of staff for Obama’s cancer initiative, the Cancer Moonshot Task Force, took home $258,207 in 2018.

The charity spent $56,738 on conferences and $59,356 on travel that year. The following year, the travel expenditure swelled to $97,149, and the nonprofit spent $742,953 on conferences, tax filings show.

Now that the media lost their rating whipping boy it will be interesting to see if they start eating their own and start going after Joe.  Sine they want Kamala Harris and her SF style of liberalism I’m guessing they will tear into him pretty quickly and he will step down and the Progressives get the type of person they want.

Fox is already turning on Trump.  Fox, like all news outlets is about ratings and making money. They will run stories on whatever their producers/showrunners tell them.

As for Covid, a lot of mistakes were made across the board as the understanding was evolving. That’s indisputable. Trump was right to shut down travel from China and the left was wrong for calling him xenophobic but Trump was cavalier about things and I think the Impeachment gave him a fuck-you attitude that jaded him. What Really screwed Trump up on was not selling his strategy of operation warp speed in greatly speeding up the process of getting vaccines to the public for that’s going to be the ultimate solution. He allowed himself to get bogged down in masks and shut downs and not enough on people exercising freedom over their own bodies to choose how safe they want to risk themselves to.  In less than a year we have 2 companies about to offer 90-05% effective vaccines against Covid..Hell the average Flu shot is only about 50% effective. There is no doubt that Trumps mouth got in his way too many time.

That’s why cable news is dying on the vine across the board.  The Quality journalists are quitting or getting fired for wanting to run opposing views of the networks and the podcasts are where the free exchange of thought is occurring.

I think there irregularities and fraud, but not to the point of flipping the Presidency.  What happened is the majority voted to remove Trump but voted straight republican ticket as was reflective in the House Gains and the likelihood of maintaining the Senate.
