Basically. We keep corn on them from July to March to cover the season and the hard times until spring gives them more to eat. I’m taking this whole week off to hunt and fish. Would have gone this morning but ended up watching too much football last night and amazon shopping for coyote gear. If I get a rainy day I’ll take the shotgun out for a walk and see if I can sneak up on one. If not then I’ll be still hunting every morning and afternoon, except maybe new years morning…
Dad got two cull bucks this week. I didn’t get any deer but I’ve been close, spooking them from the edge of the field as I get out my stand. I did catch some fish though. The last two afternoons I cast 5 times total with grubs and landed 3 Reds. Since the bite was hot I took grandma down there and got her hooked up with 5 landing 3.
