Clemson was missing Grantham.  Felton is a bench player that isn’t much of a contributor.

Not true but thanks…he is Joel Berry’s relief at the point. Berry is wearing down over the course of the season and Felton is needed to be more of a player not less. His lack of development is the major taking point on the talk shows. He was a five star recruit. Carolina was missing more guys too with key players being out and off.

I hear you on Grantham but he is gone for the season…I was talking about Carolina missing guys specifically for this game plus losing Pinson during it. I thought Carolina was going to lose going in so the fact that they cut the lead down and had a chance in the end was actually better than I expected even if they had everyone.

You were at home and stormed the court for beating a team that has lost three straight and ranked one spot ahead of you. I get why you did it due to history but it was still funny. I imagine Carolina would have done the same in football had they had a chance this year with y’all being the defending champs too.

Clemson fans go onto the field after a football game for beating Wofford for heavens sake.  Last night was only the 21st time we have ever defeated UNC at basketball.  Regardless of how good or bad UNC has been over the years makes no difference because they have our number….Also, we are not a historically good basketball program so if fans going onto the court is perfectly fine..It makes good TV and gives our program a boost.

Beating any UNC team is sort of like beating any Notre Dame team on National TV.  Its a Big Time Program even when the team is not as good. Shoot, UNC’s bench would start for an awful lot of schools.

I thought it was a good night.

I get it…still funny though. I like what Bilas said about a lot of invitations being handed out.

Clemson had another good week and has climbed up to 15/16 in the polls. last RPI I saw had them at 4.

Currently 19-4 with 7 games left.  I would think 4-5 wins at least remain on the schedule and they play Duke at home which could be huge if we could somehow get the upset.

I would love to see them close out with a strong finish. They’ve been better than I expected. I thought they may be done when Grantham went down, but they’ve hung in there and proven to be a gutsy team. They’ve got some young players too, so there is reason for optimism going forward too.

They need to make a good showing in the ACC tournament and win a NCAA tourney game to make me take another look at them.  That is the next step up.

Hide the kids and women on Thursday night. Dook making that little ride to UNC. I personally can’t stand Dook, and hope UNC beats them by 4000 points. I kind of see it as a push. Neither team is as high as they’ve been in the past, but when they mix it up….

Big win for UNC over Duke!..That put Clemson firmly in second place in the ACC and we are only 1 or 2 ACC teams with over 20 wins after a beat down of Pitt last night.

This is the 3rd fastest Clemson BB team to hit 20 games…For the tradition Basketball blue bloods this is MEH, but for Clemson, this is fun to see.  It’s nice to be a player in BB for a change.

Hell yeah!!! That team was on fire last night. The first half was unbelievable!!!

State will be ready on Saturday but I expect Carolina to go in there and beat the crap out of them as payback. After all the talk after their win a few weeks ago, it will be nice to remind them that they are little brother…just like my big brother did to me in the driveway growing up.

Clemson is playing good basketball. I hope we get to play y’all in the tournament.

That was a good win by UNC last night. I agree that they likely beat up NCSU after the last one.

Clemson looked strong as well. It’s fun to have a BBall team that’s relevant this year. We need a decent showing in the postseason to cap it off.

I expect a very loud crowd at NCSU’s hockey/basketball arena named after a bank, and located off of their campus. NCSU has a lot of proud, loud, obnoxious, uninformed fans. The local news sources cater to the teams at that school. Some even covered Dook’s loss more than UNC’s wins. I will not disparage NCSU because my wife graduated from there, and my youngest daughter now attends there. Needless to say I graduated from UNC and my oldest daughter attends there. Yet, no house division here. it’s UNC all the way at my house!

I’m no UNC or Duke fan but I just can’t stand the NC State fans despite limited exposure.  The one that stops by here on occasion isn’t a problem but I feel like we always have issues with them.  Glad they lost.

Both Clemson and UNC are forecast as 3 seeds by NCAA committee. UNC still has ND, Louisville, and Dook to play.

I am not sure we have ever been ranked so high…If so I don’t recall.

I can’t believe we have a Bball team that highly ranked. This season came just in time for Brownell. I hope they have a strong showing in the postseason.
