What’s going on everyone? I must admit I check here once a week or so, but it looks like no posts since the start of June. Is everyone gone for good?

Off-season and Clemson’s success has most other fan bases running scared from this forum.

I’m no fan of the CWS and didn’t have time to watch the NBA or NHL playoffs.

Pretty much what Ancient said.  I’m having a ball watching the Women’s World Cup right now.  I am a huge National team (women’s) fan and follow pretty closely.

I’m the opposite. I don’t watch much soccer, but do enjoy the CWS. The offseason always slows it down. I do think we’ve seen less of fans of other schools for a while which is too bad. It’s always good to get their input.

Scared of Clemson’s football success? Lol….that has nothing to do with being quiet in the summer. It’s always quiet in the summer and has been for the sites entire existence even before 08.

Would like to emulate Clemson’s success but not scared of it. Competition makes things better as long as it is fair.

Dipshits who like to dish it out and then can’t handle the response are what poison this well. That and when they just can’t stop themselves. It’s why I took a break for a while but never really left… but isn’t that true in most things in life?

“MOST other fan bases”

Not everyone has run but the coots are extinct, Dawgs gone, noles in hiding.

Even during the season non-Clemson fans have been more scarce.  I don’t even feel like we’ve been that obnoxious.  I just think some ACC and SEC fans are a little worn out by how one sided the Bama and Clemson vs the world has been.  To make it worse the majority of both conference has had massive fluctuations in success levels.

I hear you and you are right based on the diversity of fan bases left.

Teams rise and fall. Some dynasties last a while but they all come to end at some point. Clemson may have a while but remember the fall is always faster than the rise. See FSU or Nebraska for an example.

Doesn’t mean you won’t be back or stay a while but all good things come to an end.

It has become pretty much Clemson and UNC on here with occasional posts from others like VT or UGA.

You’re correct about teams rising and falling. It happens to everyone - you just hope the fall isn’t too hard and doesn’t take too long to recover. Clemson’s fall after Danny Ford was fast and it took decades to recover. UT seems to be following that same pattern right now.

But also schools like Clemson and UT can also rise back up pretty quickly because they care the most about football. I think that has a lot to do with how long Carolina has struggled to get good despite commiting a lot of resources.

Hopefully that has changed with a ceo leader type coach like we have now.

That’s true they can rise quickly once things get on track. It takes finding the right coach which is a hard task.
I think UNC will do well with Brown. It looks like he’s already made a difference in recruiting.

Trust me I know damn well to enjoy the ride while it last.  I don’t think any team could be better positioned for long term success than Clemson is now but that’s no guarantee.
