Most of the Preseason Polls are pretty close and I am using Sporting News Poll:

SN’s Preseason Top 25 for 2018

That’s pretty high for ND. I’d imagine they’ll start in the AP in the low teens. Loser of Michigan-Notre Dame in Week 1 is pretty likely to not meet expectations given their schedules ahead.

I doubt LSU will end up ranked by season’s end.
