On a trial run for Youtube TV.  So far so good.  Only a 5 day free trial… and I’m not sure if I can run youtube TV on my Toshiba w/ firestick built in.  Chromecasting to it now.

lol when ETN ran that 90 yard TD Higgings was ABUSING a CB on the edge.  Looked like big bro vs little bro.

hulu tv works like a champ, has the best catalog and is a part of Disney. Game was interesting for a quarter and GT might even still be in it if it wasn’t for the turnovers.

No doubt who the better team is though and Cincy/UCLA is a lot more interesting.

We have some stuff to clean up but the talent was obvious.  I didn’t like the play calling much, too much stuff at the edge.  We were blocking well enough for down field passing.  Running game is MUCH improved imo.

ETN averaging 17 YPC LOLOL

Trevor was a little off but showed more running today than all of last year, which we all knew was possible.
Brice looked good.  I wish Taisun would have thrown a few so I could see his arm.

You can definitely tell the DL didn’t have as much push but the LB’s seemed to penetrate better.  And was is just me or did we play A LOT more 3-4 than usual?

Feaster saw writing on the wall, was very impressed by our RBs tonight.  They look good.  I thought Lawrence pressed a little to much in the passing game, made some bad decisions.  Almost like Tua in the title game, he thought his WRs would bail him out on a few and it ended up costing us some turnovers.

Defense played well but we need to wrap up better, some tackling issues.  I thought 1st string looked pretty good for losing our big front after last year.

Way to much edge stuff, to many screen type plays that didn’t work.  Vanilla like usual, next week should break out some more.

It seemed like a VERY similar GT team tonight.  Less option but still the same team.  Not very good and they run a whole heck of a lot.  Not impressed yet, wonder how GT feels about what they saw.

Aside from some sloppy opening game issues it was a good opener.  Trevor’s timing was off and it looked like he was forcing some passes.  It’s a lot on this kids back with everyone one expecting every game to be like the Bama game.  He’s not surprising anyone this year and all of the DC’s are picking film apart to find was to exploit any weakness they can find.  My only thought was I didn’t like Trevor running as much as he did.  Really opening himself up to injury.

We didn’t throw deep a lot and I think that was on purpose.  We didn’t need to show Texas A&M any thing and our running game was sensational. Eitienne was a beast.  If he stays healty he’s going to have another monster year.

I was also extremely please with the performance of Chase Brice.  The kid is a solid backup and I feel if TL goes down our season isn’t over.  Even the 3rd string kid looked good on Zone reads.

I was pretty annoyed that Taisun wasn’t allowed (or was scared) to throw the ball.  I hate it when we put backup QB’s in and just run constantly to be nice.  He needs practice and we can’t lose, let him throw.

Did anyone else think Jaelyn Lay looked huge?  Freshman TE 6’6” and 270, supposedly pure muscle.  I’ve heard he’s still raw (and the stumble reinforces that) but he looks like he could destroy some DB’s.
