Miami vs Florida W 24-20

Texas State @ Texas A&M

Toledo @ Kentucky

Ole Miss @ Memphis

Mississippi State @ Louisiana

Duke vs Alabama

South Carolina vs North Carolina

Georgia State @ Tennessee

Portland State @ Arkansas

Georgia @ Vanderbilt

Oregon vs Auburn

Georgia Southern @ LSU

Missouri @ Wyoming

Only game I see the SEC losing is Memphis beating Ole Miss. and Georgia beating Vanderbilt.  Miami should have beaten Florida.

Good Opening games.

I like us opening with a SEC opponent. 2020 opening game is Labor Day night vs North Carolina in Atlanta. I think Kirby is getting away from playing too many FCS schools in a season. In 2020, we go @ Alabama.

Major struggles for the SEC.  Losses by Ole Miss, Tennessee, and South Carolina.  Miss State, Arkansas, and Kentucky pulling away from poor opponents late.

This weekend really took the wind out of the “SEC SEC” trolls….For the rest of the year, they won’t be able to shake these horrible loses to non-conference mid majors.

So Bentley got benched, but now it’s a foot injury?  Is he really injured?  I’m not so sure, I feel like they are trying to save face.  Did anyone see him get injured at the end of the game?  They are in full panic mode down here trying to do anything they can to convince themselves they’ll still have a successful season.

Even the Gamecock fans aren’t buying the injury story. But you are right, they are in meltdown.  They want Tanner and Muschamp gone.

What’s not really being talked about much is Tavien Feaster.  I don’t think this was the outcome he was expecting.

I just can’t wait til Tennessee inevitably upsets a good team this year and we can make the Georgia St joke til the cows come home…

What kind of dude transfers to the rival? Transfer elsewhere man.

I wonder if Bryant is happy at Mizzou?

He’s starting so I’m sure he is happy….for now.  If someone takes his spot he may cry foul.

Feaster had a few good runs, but even he can’t save a sinking ship bad team.

As far as Bentley goes I keep seeing sprained foot and broken foot…which is it?  They say 6-8 weeks, but entire season IF he has surgery.  I suspect he won’t have surgery, plays to well with the story of him earning his spot back when the new QB doesn’t live up to the hype.

Have to wonder if Bentley is considering having surgery and redshirting. Then he can either play next season at SC or grad transfer if Hlinski turns out to be the better option. He’s certainly not playing in the pros. Of course, perhaps he’ll just want to get on with his post-football life after this season. Nice, smart kid. I’m sure he’ll make a well-thought out decision.

I would agree that he will finish up his degree if he hasn’t already and move on elsewhere.  Get as much free education as possible because I agree that college is his last step with football.  He could really help a place like GA Tech as they are trying to evolve into a pro-style offense and getting a Masters From GA Tech isn’t a bad thing to have either.

Somebody tell Tennessee that Furman is beating GA State 20-10 right before the half.

Georgia State came back to win. Does that help Tennessee for SoS?
