I think Foster will be in if Muschamp and the other popular choices turn Clemson down. He’s already stated he would jump at the chance at Clemson, so it’s just a matter of whether Clemson goes with another candidate.

I do think that Foster’s interest will at least solidify Swinney not being the coach next year.

Does Dabo stay on the staff if he isn’t head coach next year?

Hey Red, he recruits NOVA right? Who does he have committed to VT?

not sure off the top of my head.  he is one of the staff’s worse recruiters.

best coach w/o question, but not a great recruiter.

like i said, i will be surprised if is their guy and i will cry too.

Foster and Muschamp would both be very good choices IMO…those two men are very very qualified and have been tremendous coordinators…

I’ve heard a few of my Clemson buddies say that they are happy with Dabo and wouldn’t mind giving him a shot….of course I think they are thinking that way b/c they don’t want to shell out more $$$ to IPTAY to pay for some big name big $$ guy who may not get it done either.

If that’s the case, they have the mentality of a loser. Don’t want a big-name coach because it would be costly if Clemson loses? Have fans been so used to losing it’s become an expectation? Pathetic. With a mentality like that and such obviously low demands, Clemson will lose with a fanbase like that.
