South Carolina and LSU were both among the top five in SEC sack leaders in 2012. However, they were also among the bottom five of the SEC in sacks allowed. They both won 10 games but fell short of a title.

This is a bit random but does anyone know much about Jacob Park? Or SC’s qb depth.

The reason I ask is I thought it was odd the coots didn’t offer. I mean a 4* #8 dual threat QB deep into south carolina (charleston) and he doesn’t get an offer from either SC school?

It makes sense that Clemson didn’t offer since we offered the #1 and #7 DTQB and locked up #1 plus we’re gonna have a small class this year, but south carolina passed too despite him having offers from nearly all the big southern schools. How often do you have a highly rated QB that is passed up by both home state schools?

Spray paint on the field that can be cut away, or on a train car that can be washed off or painted over is one thing. But chipping off a rock thats part of a long standing tradition and stealing it? Coots stoop to new low. And yes I know it was a South Carolina fan, who else would do this. This is what you get with South Carolina fans folks. They have no class, and no respect for tradition since they don’t have any themselves.

There was a time when I didn’t this had a shot, but this is one of those thoughts that keeps lingering.

There seems to be a belief that the 5 Playoff Leagues (and Notre Dame of Course) may break off and create a new D1 Level or something to that effect

I understand the thought behind it, but it looks like a bit of stacking the deck IMO. I would imagine any school left out of that club is going to cry foul like Boise did with the BCS…...

I don’t think it is needed, but thats my 2 cents

Might as well just make a list of suspended and injured players that will miss playing time. As OP I’ll try to update the first post or everyone can leave the tally on each post that adds a new suspension.
Should we stick to ACC and SEC or include everyone because teams like TCU (DE’s out) are relevant since they play LSU week 1?

New: UF starting LB

UGA: 2, starting S 1 game, backup(game 1 starter) S out all season (ACL)
FSU: 1 starting WR indefinite
Clemson: 2 backup QB (ACL) and I think we have an O-lineman out too (knee)
Florida: 1 starting LB

Anyone else excited for Louisville?

To bad we have no Louisville fans on here yet.

I just can’t get over how much they’ve done…..IN ONE YEAR. Prominent powers in all 3 major sports. Football won a BCS bowl last year and looks to be trending upwards, basketball won the championship last year and will still be trending up, baseball headed to Omaha and they look like a dang good team taking 2 from Vandy. Women’s basketball also made it to the championship game.

I’ve said all along Louisville should of been expansion target #1 for any conference interested. Glad we ended up landing them, they will be a force in all sports and will help our SOS as well. Hopefully helps the whole league (at least the top half) get better.

Tom Jurich is looking like a genius right now. What a program he has up there in Kentucky, you have to respect it. I can’t wait to host Louisville at Clemson in 2014 (football) and I will be making the return trip. Most of their fans seem to be good ones and fairly reasonable when discussing sports.

For the first time ever, I’m actually excited for an ACC expansion team.
