What’s funny about reading these threads is that both sides act the exact same way. One side says the other doesnt see the obvious and is dumb and thinks exactly like person X talks. The other side then says the other doesnt see whats clear and just mimics what the person A says. It’s really really funny. The bottom line is politics isnt this clear or that simple and the truth is probably somewhere between what both of you say. The humor of it all comes in that while denying they are one sided each side is exactly that and refuses to accept the middle while blasting the other side for not being centrist.
Oh I agree with you…. and I’m sick of it. That’s the change Obama talks about. It’s time to put the back and forth to bed and get our country right. Oh it will happen, Obama’s side has numbers as the PEOPLE have spoke. The United States of America has always been down the center and will always be down the center. This is exactly why I like Obama and when I read on here somebody said he was a radical I laughed my butt off. That amazing considering he has republicans in his administration.
Yeah but all of that is cyclical for the most part. A few yrs ago the repubs wanted everyone to buy in and be non partisan now that the dems have their guy in they want the repubs to be non partisan. Its the premise of everyone should compromise when my pick is in charge lol and that goes for both sides. Never changes.

key word is Talks and his voting record is heavy left, it is certainly not center. Hiliary is more center than he is. proof is in the pudding. right now his pudding isn’t centro-matic, it’s just rhetoric.
Such is the nature of politics guys…its an adversarial atmosphere…I wish things could be more central…but the far left is really going farther left and the far right are really going farther right…its hard to stand in the middle… you have to choose the lesser of the two evils..that decision is on the individual. The really sad part is that the entire country will suffer due to the death of bipartisanship…the blame is on both sides like you said dawg…most of the people on capital hill are not there to do what we elected them to do that goes for both sides. Personal agendas have really taken over in politics…instead of the people dictating to the states, the states dictating to the federal government its all assbackward…the federal government tells the states what to do the states tell the people what to do. The people are suppose to controll the operations of government not visa versa.
TBE, Have you been paying attention at all to what has been happening in Washington? Obama in the center??? This country is turning left so fast it’s making me dizzy. You need to wake up and stop drowning in the koolaid. Our radical new president and yes I said the R word - he is RADICAL - is going to destroy this republic and the blessed freedom that we all enjoy. Many heroic Americans have been wounded and died protecting our freedom. The freedom to pursue life, liberty and happiness without the interference of a big-brother intrusive government. What’s happening in this country is no laughing matter. The radical agenda of the far left is for real and it is frightening. That agenda is alive and thriving under the watchful eye of Rahm Emanuel.
TBE- What is laughable is your numbers you come up with man.. seriously where do you find that cause I have been looking high and low. He only got 52 % of the popular vote… Now we TEnnesseeans aint too good at math but that is far less than 95%.
Real Clear Politics Average….. Obama Approval Rating….65.4 (approve) 22.6 (disapprove) +42.8 (spread margin) umm that doesn’t look like 95% either.
Well, Obama has a 70 percent approval rating this week. That was before last night when he talked to the nation. And, he knocked it out of the park last night according most news agencies. Also Fox News, which isn’t a news agency even said he knocked it out of the park. So…... maybe not 90 how about 75-80 percent or 8 out of 10 people DISAGREE WITH YOU! http://cnnwire.blogs.cnn.com/2009/02/09/poll-finds-obama-more-popular-than-stimulus-plan/
OH i will give you credit there he talks a helluva game too bad he never says anything. If you paid attention really closely there were several questions he just never answered but it sounded good coming out so I guess it is all good.
