If I actually thought he had a chance I would seriously consider.  Trump was not my first, second or even third.  Cruz was my guy FWIW.

My vote for Trump is a true leap of faith in hoping that he will surround himself with top people that will give him the best information to make decisions that are for the good of the country.

Sure, Trump is a misogynistic, politically incorrect fellow, but he is a smart fellow and the image he is projecting is probability not the same one that would be seen behind closed doors at the negotiations table. Also, when I look at his kids, I see a bunch of solids citizens that have their act together and are not spoiled trust fund kids..they have learned the value of work and that matters

I think the Libertarians are too hands off and in this world the US still needs to be a significant leader on the World stage.

To each your own. I think Cruz was scarier than Trump and that is proven by the fact that everyone in his own party despises him. Trump is a demagogue but not an ideologue like Cruz and is always looking for the best deal. In a lot of ways I like that, as you never get all you want, but he has not proven that he listens to others, shown by his inability to stop running his mouth and stay on message. As such, I think your hopes may be unfounded. That and he claims to be his own most trusted advisor…

As to Johnson’s chance…we still have plenty of time for the two major party folks to disqualify themselves. If Johnson gets on that debate stage it could be a game changer as I believe most of the sensible middle are really libertarians in their own life. Think about it…freedom from oppressive government in the wallet and the bedroom? Neither party offers that today, and in reality both he and Weld were pragmatic Republican governors in Blue states, which is pretty much the ideal candidate for me.
