Ancient.  Dabo’s first three years?  Ok, but look at the whole graph.  By year 4 he won the ACC and was on the 10+ win streak.  It still is an upward trend.  7 years Brownell has 2 20 win seasons and 1 NCAA bid, that bid and one of those seasons was directly after Oliver Purnell with his guys.  In 8 years Dabo has 1 National Title, 3 ACC titles, a 6 year 10+ win streak, and countless other accolades.  Dabo made the changes to the program he needed to in those first 3 years to set us up for back to back national championship games these past 2 years.  The moves he made early directly affected what we saw last year and the year before.  He did his tweaks and we took some blows, but by year 4 we knew exactly what we had with Dabo.  Now 7 years on we still have no idea what Brownell is.

My point is not to directly compare coaches line for line, my point is the time it’s taken Brad Brownell to attempt to establish whatever foundation he is putting in.  You can’t wait until year 6-8 to get your program started.  By year 6-8 we should know what we have and where the program is going.  Brownell is still trying to get his program started now 7 years into his tenure.  Totally unacceptable.  It’s a waste of Clemson’s time.

Well…Of the 9 teams the ACC sent to the tourney, the Sweet Sixteen only has one ACC team left standing in UNC.  The Coots just beat Duke….

Oh look Frank Martin has the Lamecocks in the sweet 16.  While yet another school from THE GREATEST BASKETBALL CONFERENCE EVERRRRRRRRRRRRR goes down.  BUT IT’S OK GUYS, Brownell can do it….just give him another decade.  He’s pouring in the recruits, has them lining up to take a tour of Littlejohn.

Easy Street.

Lol at Dook.

It’s definitely fair to compare Frank Martin to Brownell…..Same state, similar fan base, similar facilities.  Only thing is USCjr was the SEC’s whipping boy until Martin come in.

Martin’s success may to more to push Brownell out the door than anything.  The fan base won’t accept the Coots doing this well in BB and Clemson continuing this marginal program.

Well A/O…you got your wish and for the record I hope you are right.  I am curious.  If Clemson BB post another season similar to this how will you feel?

He’ll feel comfortable.  Clearly.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

What an absolute waste of millions by Clemson.  And clearly not committed to the best interest of our baketball program.  Disappointing.  No one will show next year so we’all suffer tremendously on ticket sales.  This program is absolutely ho him.  Glad we have baseball and football.

If Drad didn’t give him terms and conditions like he did with Leggett then Draf is an absolute moron.

Coaches see this job as a “mid-major in a big conference with zero upside.”  That is how we are viewed folks.  I feel very COMFORTABLE with that.

Coaching Clemson BB is like coaching the Cleveland Browns…it’s really not going to hurt your resume if you can’t make it work…low risk..high reward..

If you manage to strike gold then a ringer will come calling and write you a big fat check…

Watching USCjr advance to the Elite 8, makes me feel even more comfortable with Brownell….....LOL wow.  Hope they lose soon, can’t have any shine being taken off the football title this year.

They are on a special run…and it’s impressive how many fans they have in MSG.

Interesting note though, should USCjr make the whole thing, the state of SC will of produced the 2016 Baseball, Football, and Basketball national champs.  To Tnet’s knowledge, the last time this happened was in 1972 with California.

Of course I don’t want this, but it’s a nugget for sports fans.  Hope their flame burns out soon.  Maybe it will bring Legal and the other coots back.

That’s because this is the furthest any sports team has gotten besides baseball Pines, they are of course going to show up for it.  Literally once in a lifetime trip.  Not like UNC in basketball or Bama who expect to see it yearly.

That would be impressive. I still contend that Coastal Carolina is the biggest David ever in college sports. They just get no credit because it is baseball.

I wish all those guys would show back up. I always enjoy SeC chanting when they win because I know when they lose it will be silent.
