No not with the reports of Joel Berry’s ankles. Injuries to guards have cost Carolina 2 championships in the past.

I see UNC as the favorite. A battle of the Carolinas could start some fun back and forth.

That would be a hard one to live down with those guys…they conveniently forget their losses in things but they would rub a national championship victory in basketball forever.

If Carolina beats them though they would just shrug it off as expected. Of course we would still have a banner though…so there is that! Lol.

I think UNC’s game vs. Oregon will be a tough one. S. Carolina must beat the Number 1 team overall. If they both win it will be quite a regional battle in Arizona. It would be cool if they could play that game in Charlotte, but of course the NCAA would never allow that. Regardless, UNC should be seen as a tentative favorite to win. That is if Berry’s ankles are ok. I imagine they will be.
