Anyone else kind of excited to see this?  I’m not a huge fighting fan, used to watch MMA a lot but this fight just seems to transcend everything and is a HUGE sports event.  It is a historical super fight.  Talking hundreds of millions of dollars in purse money.

Anyone interested?  Who do you have?  I want to take McGregor, I hope he takes it however Mayweather loves to run around and I can see him winning it in decision.  McGregor has a nasty left hand, but he’s used to fighting close with almost no gloves.  The bigger gloves might wear his arms after a while.

Everyone doubting McGregor though, that’s when he’s the best.  You listen to any boxing legend and they say he has no chance.  I wouldn’t doubt this man.  He’s younger, taller, longer, stronger, he’s been hit in the head by knees, fists, elbows with 4oz gloves and never been knocked out.  We’ll see.  The problem again is going to be if McGregor can even lay a hand on him.  Fight is in August.

All hype for nothing.  Boxing must be advertised by Steve Jobs brother because there’s nothing special to see really.  I wouldn’t spend a penny to watch it.  I don’t know if Mayweather is too old to play now but if he’s fit I would imagine he has the advantage.  I hope he gets pummeled.  I wish it was a MMA fight though.

Mayweather is going to turn McGregor’s face into ground beef. Given Floyd won this fight already by negotiating a boxing match. Of course Mac would destroy him in the octagon but that’s not what we have here.

Mayweather will dance and run until Mac gets frustrated and makes bad decisions. I don’t think it goes more than six rounds. Mac probably knows he has no chance but is laughing all the way to the bank. I really hope I’m wrong because I despise Mayweather.

I agree, a fight on Mayweather’s turf seems like a slam dunk for him. I think your analysis of how it will go is spot on.

He is someone that takes fights he knows he will win. Otherwise I don’t think he would have done this.

Not a lot of 40 year 150 Lbs prize fighters win at the highest level.  I don’t care how cut your body is, there is an effect ton an aging fighter’s ability to compete.

If Mayweather doesn’t get him early, McGregor could catch him in the later rounds

I think it depends on how McGregor’s conditioning has been.  Can he last that long?  He’s used to a couple of 5min rounds and thats it, has he trained enough to sustain the entire fight especially if he can’t lay hands on Mayweather?

I really really want to see Mayweather fall, that would be one of the sweetest victories in sports IMO.  Huge ifs in this fight.  IF McGregor can lay hands on Mayweather give me McGregor all day everyday no questions asked.  If he can’t, then Mayweather will take it in decision or knock McGregor down late due to fatigue of him pressing wanting it so bad.  We’ll see.  McGregor has the edge as far as body goes, has to.  He wasn’t out of fighting for 2 years in between his last fight and this one and he’s over a decade younger.

McGregor has the hands, just has to connect.  Come on Conor!!

McGregor is no where near the highest level of boxing. He’ll, he’s not even a boxer.

This should of been a home and home, ring and octagon that would be sick.  If this was a real fight Mayweather would be dead, literally.

McGregor’s tank is EMPTY in the 9th.  He won’t make it 12 not the way he looks now.  He has fared really well though.

I enjoyed it.  I thought it was a pretty good fight.  Up until about the late 8th or early 9th IMO it could of gone either way.  I’ve seen a lot worse fights.
