Talk about stirring up a hornets nest.  The Game of Thrones people are creating a drama based on an alternative timeline where the South was allowed to secede and slavery is still legal and institutionalized.

I love a good “What If” story, but I think this is not a good topic to try at this point in time.  Racial tensions are high and this will only stoke the embers of division.

HBO is getting some serious negative feedback.  I hope that don’t move forward on this one.

I guess racism doesn’t exist in America since the Russian collusion narrative started. MSM doesn’t have the time to mention it.

Yeah, not sure this is a good idea. There are a lot of what-if stories people could create, but I don’t see this being well-received.

I don’t know, I think it might be interesting.  Could make people more thankful for what they have today instead of a world which will be portrayed in the show.  We’ve seen so many apocalyptic type shows about power going out, the dead taking over the world, etc.  To me it’s just another nightmare type scenario show, nothing that should stir any bad blood.  I will watch it.
