1 GT vs Miami - GT usually struggles against Miami, but GT is facing the Canes at the right time being down 3 starters in a physical battle last week against rival FSU. GT leads the nation in fumbles and was costly against UT in their first game. Clean that up and they stand a good chance springing the (minor) upset. If you remember, I picked GT to win the Coastal preseason, so I will be pulling for the nerds.

2 FSU vs Duke - This game has bowl implications for both teams, lose this winnable game (for either team) and the loser is in danger of missing out on a bowl game. For FSU, they have the longest bowl streak in the nation on the line, for Duke, they would like to just get back to a bowl.

3 BC vs UL - The battle of the bird mascots. Most would assume that UL should roll, but BC is a solid team and UL is not exactly setting the world on fire. Besides that, LJ is the reigning Heisman trophy winner and he still fun to watch.

GT, FSU and Louisville all win with only GT and Miami being that close.

IMHO of course.

GT has played no one with a pulse so far so they are hard to gauge but are playing Miami at the perfect time. FSU rolls, I have BC with the slight upset.

Really good, closely contested games this week. Miami is clutch when it matters. FSU survives Duke, BC beat UL on a last second FG, even UVA vs UNC was close.

Yes it was…I was at Carolina/UVA and a few breaks went against Carolina that cost them the game after pretty well dominating the second half while being dominated in the first half.

Surprised at Miami winning these last second games. I think their luck will run out though against one of these teams.

I can’t believe BC scored 40 pts.

GT DC Teddy boi kept giving that 15 yard cushion for the bubble screen on that last drive and Miami obliged him.

After it happened twice in a row you would think he would have changed up the D.

I really question Paul Johnson’s clock managment at the end of the half and at the end of the game, I’ve seen this many times where it’s a situation where you need to melt some clock and the offense is snapping the ball with 15 seconds left on the play clock. I know it’s easy to second guess after the fact, but I continue to see this happen.

A LOT of coaches screw this up.  One of my pet peeves.
