Not that I’m paying attention really but apparently the ACC is up 9-1 with 3 games up tonight and 1 tomorrow.

Clemson beat tOSU 79-65.  Haven’t seen a ton of “fire brad” so far.

Oh has basketball started?  Sorry, we are challenging for an ACC title and playoff berth in football so I couldn’t care less.  Stuff we’ll never see in Basketball.  I’m tired of saying it honestly, fire BB.

It looks like our BBall team might be considering being competitive this year. Good win on the road over OSU.

ACC is a tough, tough basketball conference. Think SEC five years ago.

People who want BB fired frankly don’t register with me. He has done a very good job, is always competitive, FINALLY got a decent (not spectacular but good) facility THIS year, is in a bad state for HS basketball talent, does not cheat (which is a rarity in basketball), is a class-act on and off the court, has limited support and resources, loves Clemson and wins a good bit of games - more than we have traditionally won in a MUCH stronger conference. The make it to the tournament mantra is ridiculous and meaningless; it should not be the end all be all that Clemson fans seem to think it is.

Give him two more years with the new facility and lets assess then. If you want to go out and get a coach that cheats (looking at Martin and Johnson in the SEC) and will use Clemson as a stepping stone, knock yourself out as that is what you will get.

I think that is a good analysis of Brownell. The ACC is a monster this year and beating the crap of of the Big 10 is always fun. Be realistic…most fans aren’t. If y’all don’t care as much as you claim, why do you want him fired?

Duke is going to be hard to stop, but surprisingly I’ll be interested to see how high Miami and Virginia can go. VT looking pretty good too…

Did I say I really enjoyed seeing the Big Ten get crushed?

UNC hammered Michigan. That’s the only one I watched. I’ve read Duke is not yet dominating, but winning. UVa will probably be good, but set bball back 60 years in the process.

If Brad Brownell can beat UNC @UNC on Jan 16 I will support him for 2 more years.  Otherwise no dice.

That’s not a fair barometer. Lots of good coaches have failed at that…but it will happen someday. Here’s hoping not this year.

Tony Bennett and his style is kinda like GT. It’s a way of getting more wins out of less talent. He is starting to get the talent now too.

That’s the only thing I care about with the basketball team now tbh, I just want to see the streak end.  So if Brad can do it, he will get my support for 2 more years.

Dumb reason.  Same conference, different leagues.  Should Wake fire Clawson if he can’t beat Dabo next year?  10 straight losses with what would be 5 by Clawson.

You better start scouting, because that has never happened, and I am willing to bet it never does.

Lol I’m on your side in this one 98, I can’t see it happening either….hence why I said I’d support Brad if he was the one able to do it.

Basketball needs a culture change like Dabo’s in football….I don’t believe Brad is the guy to do that, at all.  Never have.

You sound like a coot that wants to win football national championships.  Not going to happen.

i have visited Clemson for a football game, and the culture there is great. Tiger Tavern is a fun place. I also saw a lot of nice, welcoming folks. UNC has had football success, but has had a lot more basketball success. I would love for both programs to be good. I’m sure Clemson fans would say the same. I wish you the best in that. Except when you guys come to Chapel Hill for a game. That’s a cool record, and I don’t want it broken.

Just saying, I’m watching Kiffin and FAU play football instead of watching Clemson probably beat USCjr in basketball again.
