Was just watching them unveil the new Super Bowl banner at their stadium, it’s on a video board instead of the traditional sign or fabric type.  Thought it was pretty awesome, and great idea.  Really highlights the achievement instead of a banner hanging in the shadows of a stadium.  I’d love to see Clemson’s playoff and National Championship sign be LEDs.  Welcome to the future.

This is the tech I work with almost daily, so maybe I think its cooler than most would.

Here is an image and video of it.

Kinda neat but it doesn’t feel as permanent on a screen.  Maybe have both is best.

A billboard on the outside of the stadium displaying this stuff and other team info would be kinda cool.

Not permanent you are right but so much potential with it.  You could actually loop video from that national title game, photos, photos of the players/coaches, etc along with stats or the score of the game.  Would be so awesome!

So while you looked at Clemson - 2016 National Champions it could fade to that last second play, or a team photo of the 2016 Tigers, maybe Watson with the trophy, that kind of thing.  So not permanent but so much upside to that.
