He will make 625k a year, he was making 700k at FSU. This has us FSU fans worried as FSU commit Sam Howell was very close to Bell.

Took a pay cut to go to a small program, interesting choice.  Bailing a sinking ship or just want to be a HC that bad?  He’s a young guy.  Hopefully this will help FSU find someone better, they could use the help.

If you’re happy with good enough, then good enough is what you’ll be. Greatness requires the expectation of excellence.

Howell going to UNC now. That’s just my guess. His mom liked Bell. His dad is starry eyed over Mack Brown.

That would be a gut punch for the Noles.  Both programs need a QB.  As an OC he was mediocre though.  Not a good look for Tag

I agree with UNC that he heads there.

FSU lost a quality recruiter more than anything else.

Bell can always return as an OC so this could be a good career move. I don’t blame him if he wants to be a HC and don’t read too much into it for Willie unless others start to bail.

I’m expecting others to “bail”, but it will likely be a gentle nudge as FSU tries to upgrade their staff. Special teams in particular needs a better coach.

This just isn’t a good look for the Nole’s as early signing is nearly here and national signing day is just a few months away.  It’s going to be hard to sell the program to a top recruit coming off a 5 win season where the HC is already under fire and coordinators are fleeing.

I never thought I would see a time when FSU was struggling so much.  The ACC really needs about 4-5 solid anchor schools and right now FSU is not one of them.

I realize they have to give Taggart more time, but another year like this will set FSU back even further.
