I HOPE SOME OF YOU TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE ARTICLE. HIT THE LINK…..

Here’s a great quote from the article.

““I don’t even want to think about that now,” he said. (Leaving early for the NFL) “I don’t know. I’d like to graduate, especially to show all of those people who thought I couldn’t. But I have to do what is best for me. It depends on the season.”

Devine, who lives by himself in an on-campus apartment, said he only gets to see his children the few times a year his school and football schedules allow.

“It’s tough,” he said. “It’s tough times.”

Devine said he visited his children during spring break in March and would again in May. However, it will be a short stay as he said he plans on taking summer classes and going through offseason workout programs. He said when he returns in May he’d like to lend some of his time and talents to the community.

“I want to do a football camp when I come home to help kids,” he said. “Help their skill development. Do some of the drills we do (at WVU). Help keep them on the right path.”

While Devine’s path through childhood and young adulthood has been anything but smooth, Stewart said he feels his running back has come a long way and has a wide-open future.”

Misunderstood good guy? Maybe now but in high school Devine was a thug. We didn’t even recruit him because we couldn’t get him in school. He’s a Miami player playing at WV.

Oh wow, now this is easy. The reason why Noel Devine or any elite prospect quit going to Miami is because your team is in disarray. You have a team of urban thugs from the hood who decided to take out their drug wars on the field a couple of years ago against some other no name Florida university and now most good kids who are elite players stay away from you like your carrying the HIV virus.

What you met to say is Noel Devine plays like Miami’s former players but now does his thing at WVU. Because you don’t get the Devine’s anymore. See Bryce Brown! among others.

TBE your so full of yourself you can’t see the light because your head is so big your eyes are indented.

Devine was a late qualifier and there was no way we would take him being that far away academically. Don’t fool yourself, if the “U” would have wanted him, we would have got him. We are Miami, you are who?

Who are you? Come on now you just didn’t appear. Your posts have an anger to them. Come on, come clean… if you are real, I very much look forward to the debate.

Well then… ok I or we are West Virginia University. You know that school that was playing in BCS games while most of your team was finishing up probation. My team wears old gold and blue, your team wears orange, as in orange jump suits.

Look, your program is in the toilet. Literally you have fallen off the face of the college football world. Why you have decided to come attack me I have no idea but I suggest you load up with some wins, maybe come close to a conference championship and by all means introduce some substance abuse treatment procedures at UM before you come bringing your nonsense to me.

I’ll leave you with a question…

What is Miami’s overall record over the past 5 years? Now when you figure that out keep in mind my guys have won 2 BCS games over that same time period and won two other bowls as well. lol gezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I was speaking of players facing criminal prosecution… but since you asked Sugar Bowl 1993 when we entered the game undefeated 11-0 and lost to Florida. And that would have been the Big East but only since you asked.

In fact Red, WVU went undefeated in 1989 and lost to Notre Dame in the National Championship and to Florida 4 short years later. I’m wondering if VT has ever gone unbeated TWICE in a five year period?  Maybe you can help me out…. have you?

i never said wvu didn’t go to a big bowl, but they never did when in the BE while Miami was on probation.  93, da U had not been caught yet.  VT and cuse went to the big bowls when they were in the clink.

ummm, wvu never went unbeaten a bowl loss is a loss and according to you a bigger loss than a season loss.  has more weight and meaning on it.  neither game was close and the UF was a woodshedder.

Yea… and about my question…. has VT gone unbeaten twice in the regular season within a five year period? Has VT entered bowl season UNBEATEN twice in five years? That was my question.

nope why does that matter, still LOST.

VT went 11-1 back2back in 99 and 00, which isn’t that impressive considering fsu, miami, half the sec all have national championships.  congrats on those regular season undefeated teams, they sure were special .... til bowl season.
