Ron Cherry deserves every insult given him. He is basically the reason VT got back in the game vs. UNC with a dumb personal foul call when VT didn’t get a 3rd down conversion. I don’t hate people, but he should check into a home for “not smart” people.

We always sigh when we see his crew at games, but that call above is pretty funny.

I know FSU fans don’t like him, but I didn’t realize the whole conference didn’t. Why is he still calling games?

I’ll not argue that point. UNC’s needed no help in losing until recently. The bottom line is Cherry and his crew are awful. The ACC needs to get competent officials if it has any intention of becoming a big time football conference.

I think ACC officiating on the whole is pretty poor league wide.  No personal team vendettas IMO just lousy officiating all the way around.
