It’s my understanding no D-1 teams wanted him as a qb. He’s done very well. At the time that Michigan game last year was a game for the ages. It turned out Michigan wasn’t terrible. Is ASU looking like the FBS favorite for the title? McNeese St. played UNC pretty good the first game of this season.
Hard to believe he’s just halfway through his junior season. Last night he set the SoCon record for career all-purpose yards. You think he’s just a runner but the kid can pass too! 20 td only 2 int this season. Really could get 3,000 pass yards and if he has performances similar to last year in the playoffs then possibly 2,000 yards rushing to go along. Granted the playoffs give him a few more games to accomplish something never done. McNeese St. is ok, they’re the Hawaii of last year to our level. Play in a week FCS conference then lose early in the playoff’s. They lost 44-15 to a team we later dominated in the second round. We shouldn’t underestimate them cuz they were impressive vs. UNC. The team to beat in FCS is James Madison who should of beat APP last year but lost on the final play. This year they beat us after we blew a 21-0 halftime lead. Hopefully we’ll still be #1 and #2 and meet for the national championship. Our championship is being moved to the day before the BCS championship in future years by the way! Had 31,000 in attendance last night. Facility coming along.

Appreciate it! I don’t think anyone was expecting us to dominate them like that. I surely didn’t. Atmosphere was great. Real creative costumes etc. / When ASU turns it on they’re dominant they just haven’t been consistent through an entire game until last night (See JMU). Defense still needs work, but they’re extremely young with injuries/graduation losses. Was real impressed with GSU! They’ll be better than a lot of playoff teams. I think you should get in if you win out. Probably won’t though since the CAA commish hates the SoCon and is in charge of playoff selection. GSU got a ton of young talent, they’ll be a force in the near future. Just hope no more Adrian Peterson’s come along. I still think he’s the most dominant fcs player ever! Appy State should go on full steam next year putting that bill board in the middle of Times Square in New York.

Oh what could have been. GSU losing to #2 App State, #3 Wofford, and #4 Elon by 5ish points? I know its some ridiculously slim margin. Coach Hatcher is building something nice. I only hope the Eagles can hang onto him long enough before some D1 college comes and tries to steal him.
