out
DT Austin, CB Brown, CB Burney, WR Little, DE McAdoo, DE Quinn, RB Draughns, DR Euwell, S Gupton, TB Houston, S Searcy, S Smith

known waiting
LB Carter, S Williams, LB Sturdivant

i don’t see how davis’s head doesn’t roll.

They have no safeties and no RB’s. 3rd string RB Johnny White didn’t board the bus either supposedly. If Williams is out, they’ll be playing their 3rd string Safeties! YIKES

not me, but a guy on twitter said, crowton is now gonna hang 17 on unc.  haha.

i am going to FCS game instead, after i realized that unc was unlikely to make it a good game.

Either Butch will leave or get fired at end of season! He knows he can’t compete at UNC like most programs cuz the universities professors don’t let things like this slip by like most other dominant FB programs. UNC is so much about academic prestige that it hurts the FB program. The fact is: Basketball is king at UNC and the school is willing to use FB as scapegoat even if this is going on in bball too.

complete b.s., now i am sure it happens everywhere, but fact of the matter if the NCAA had not come down for agent gate this would have NEVER been exposed.  It had already slipped by.

don’t play the high and might integrity card now ... ring shallow as hell.

UNC found the academic scandal; not the NCAA. And yes, never would have been found if they weren’t digging in the first place. You’re right, just upset at this whole mess! Been going to games my whole life and now that we’re on the verge of being an elite team finally, it’s taken away from us. But it is our own fault. 2010 has to be the worst athletic season in school history.

hope, i don’t sound too jerky.  i do feel bad for the fans.  i can imagine how bad this sucks.

unc is going to have start over, clean house of all the coaches and likely some players too.

i hope they give lsu all they can handle, but it doesn’t look good.

I don’t think Davis is leaving or getting fired. He’s pretty much said the right things all along. As for the tutor and stuff, the AD cleared it up regarding Davis. Basically, it’s not his fault, and he knew nothing of what was going on. I think some players are being held out as a precaution, and they later will be cleared. Make of it what you will, but I’m not thinking this will ruin the season. Will UNC be as good as some were predicting? probably not. Will UNC be as bad as a lot are predicting? Probably not. Everyone will just have to wait and see, but I think it will work out ok. Of course, I’m not a johnny come lately UNC fan, and I’ve seen much worse on the field. Much worse.

That all manage to get players some type academic help and it is shady most of the time. Only FSU reports itself like morons.  I don’t think they fire Davis they just push on and try to hide it better next time. Excuse me while I put on my sound of music CD.

Gator Bowl = 72.9% capacity. UF vs Ohio State
Champs Bowl = 103.4% capacity. FSU vs Notre Dame

New record crowd at Benny Hill stadium this year .... to watch FSU! Unfortunately most of them were Seminole fans!

2007 FSU 21 Alabama 7
2008 FSU 42 Wisconsin 13
2009 FSU 33 WVU 21
2010 FSU 31 Florida 7
2010 FSU 45 Miami 17
2010 FSU 26 South Carolina 17
2011 FSU 23 Miami 19
2011 FSU 21 Florida 7
2011 FSU 18 Notre Dame 14
Why can’t they just win the game?

Not looking forward to the inevitable SEC…SEC…SEC chant.

UNC was a better team than LSU before this all happened. Now, not so much but I will be there enduring just in case a BC/Miami type miracle happens.

Oh SoPines…. Don’t give up. I’m not convinced LSU is unbeatable by this team. It was going to be defense vs. defense. Now it’s up to UNC to produce a lil offense, and I think they are just better than LSU offensively. I won’t be surprised if they lose, but I don’t think it monumental if they win.

I doubt things are as gloomy as most UNC fans think right now.  I think they can beat LSU.  Will they? I don’t know, that’s why I’m going to watch the game!

Well, I’m watching it. I’m not too pleased, but I’m not too sad either. Special teams play cost UNC big in field position and scoring. Also, the offense is just going to have to produce more and play better if UNC wants to win games this season. On defense the team played well and not so well. I guess that’s to be expected with the entire secondary, and 80% of the defensive line missing. I think the defense will improve as the year goes on. UNC’s hope of climbing in the polls are even being in the polls will suffer greatly, but lessons will be learned. Players will mature, and improve. Also if any of the original starters return (which I am confident will happen) UNC will have this much added depth. LSU’s defense looks very good. It was not looking so good when the team was in a less advantagious (sp) position. At time UNC moved the ball. UNC’s running game better improve, though. The offensive line, and center especially, better do a better job of opening running lanes. Again, though…. LSU is doing what it needed to do, and will move forward.
