Couldn’t resist checking the board…but I give up. I am tired and can’t make you get it. I am all three things Williams says. I can assure you though there is no admission of incorrectness. Williams does not understand the University of North Carolina at all proven by his points in his last post.
While I can’t make you understand it, I can tell you that Nick Saban could tell the president of Alabama where he could shove it. Beamer can probably do the same thing at VT (although I don’t think he would.) Davis has no such leeway at UNC. I wish he did. He is my kind of coach. Holden Thorpe has the reigns now and I am afraid he is a really big basketball fan. :( See his latest comments about “hazardous undertaking” for yourself.
There is a reason why Carolina is not a power in football. We have the resources most schools would dream of and a large (albeit somewhat spoiled and lazy) fanbase. The limits have everything to do with institutional control and unfortunately for Carolina football fans, if everything all the ABCers say comes true, we are about to see the old ways come again. We were close for a while there.
