Both have led their teams to the playoffs.  But I think Ryan gets the nod for bringing a franchise back from as low as a franchise can get without being the Detroit Lions.

And to think I made a post earlier in the year that Ryan would have to walk around the ATL with a bullet proof vest.

It is even funnier that Chad Pennington gets run from NY for Favre, but now chad is a candidate for MVP, while Favre is playing golf in Mississippi.

Candidates for Def POY….Ed Reed, Palomalu, Justin Tuck, Porter, and D-Ware.  I want tuck to get it, of course, but I think Porter deserves it for miami’s turnaround.

Matt Ryan - who would have thought the Falcons could have recovered this quickly from all the mess surrounding them last year and make it into the playoffs.  Pretty impressive.

If Ryan didn’t win it there would have been a revolution.
