1) Bring it one more bat. The outfield.

2) Trade one of JJ or BB I think

3) Have a serious evaluation of Jason Heyward

1. Get rid of Lowe.
2. Get rid of Linebrink.
3. Evaluate Heyward.
4. Get rid of McLouth.
5. Try to get Bourne locked up.
6. Sign a big bat or big time pitcher not named Lowe.

If you were going to trade one of JJ or BB I would rather have BB. He has looked really good this year and was consistent. I think he is on one of the top lists for K/9 innings pitched or something.

Lowe and Linebrink are holding up $20.5 Million (15 for Lowe and 5.5 for Linebrink). Both need to go.

I heard on the radio that Lowe’s buyout is 9 million but still that is a pocket of 6 million per year. I have heard some rumblings also that the Braves might be taking a peak at Jose Reyes or Jimmy Rollins. I highly doubt that the Braves would bring in a guy like Jose Reyes especially for what he would be worth but Rollins might get a look. I think we should look at getting an Ace like the Phills did. Drop Lowe and Linebrink and trade JJ for a big name starter that is in his prime. McCann is good to go, Freeman is good, Uggs is good, Chipper is coming back, Prado is waiting for 3B to open up, Bourne is good, and I don’t think the Braves will look to move Heyward. That leaves Gonzalez at SS who is an uncertainty.

I like Rollins… he could be a HOF if he stays healthy.

1 and 4 done today. Picked up Hinske’s option too.

Yea apparently his option this year was for something near 10 million dollars. That is nuts for a guy who A won’t play and B isn’t all that great.
