You have to stay on the offensive in war. You never wait for people to attack you. You take them out before they have a chance to attack you.

TBE war sucks. But in order to keep citizens of our nation safe you have to stay on the offensive. Its better we fight them on there homeland then them come fight us on ours. Its a crappy situation but it is what it is.

Are you saying that we have attacked Afghanistan for no reason? as well as, Iraq?
We absolutely attacked Iraq for NOTHING. Bin Laden is hiding in the mountains of Pak and Afgan… so we had and have a reason for occupying Afgan.
But Iraq…... well, you can follow the War Crimes trials of Bush, Chaney, Rumsfelt or however you spell it among others. There you will learn if we had a reason to attack Iraq.
I’ll agree that the reason why we went in turned out to be false but, countries all around the world were getting the same intel as us, saying they had WMD’s. So I don’t think you can put that one only on the Bush Administration and personally, I’m glad that Saddam is gone and that they are building a democratic government. Also, we are winning…
A. It’s the middle east and thinking they will have a democratic government is a dream. They have been fighting for 7,000 years…. it’s all they know. Imagine if they invaded us and tried to force feed their culture on us..
B. If all the countries had the intel how come didn’t we have a bunch of help from France, Germany etc. lol dude it was about Chaney and contracts and oil and Sadam trying to take out retards Dad when he was President.

Winning is having no or almost no American or civilian casualties and casualties have been way down for a while now. It is putting in place a self-sustaining government, which is there and will soon be fully on its own. That is winning, replacing a ruthless dictator that Iraqis were scared of and couldn’t stand, with a democratic government that has made the Iraqis happier and now they can feel safe! Maybe it is a dream? I can’t tell you it will work but we have helped to give it a shot. And we have found WMD’s, lots and lots chemical weapons but those aren’t the ones we were looking for. Iraq is a massive desert and who knows where and how many more weapons have been buried. But, why didn’t countries like France and Germany help us? Well, I’m not sure what countries are included in your etc. but Australia, Italy, UK, Spain, Japan, Ukraine, Denmark, Czech Republic, South Korea, Poland, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, New Zealand, etc. all have or have had troops in Iraq fighting with us. They must’ve thought it was a worthy fight and not for oil.

certainly we had no reason to go to iraq.
a. middle east countries with no oil or rapidly declining oil supplies are democratic or pretty close.
b. france and germany were dealing weapons to iraq, making them money and getting slightly cheaper oil from iraq. why would they fight?
